White elder (bur. Sagaan ubugun) is depicted sitting, without headgear, bald, elongated skull, with a long white beard, belted coat, in knee-high boots Mongolian type. In one hand of the White elder is a rod with a tip in the form of dragon heads. In the other hand in front of chest he is holding a rosary. The sculpture is made with the iconographic canons, worked out fine details. In Buddhist representations the White elder is the head of the hosts of the various places, particularly mountains and bodies of water, the patron Saint of family happiness, giver of happiness, wealth and longevity, the patron Saint of animals and of plants.
The image of the White elder is the desire for longevity and well-being.
